Game Thinks its lagging!
I've been plaing MOHAA since the demo. I bought the game first day it came out. It worked all perfectly fine untill I got some new hardware. This is my hardware setup.
Abit IT7 MAX2, P4 2.533, OCZ 3200 512mb ram, PNY GF4 4600 using 40.72 drivers, SBLive Platinum, 2 IBM30 gig drives, AOpen DVD and Lite-On CDRW. NetGear Network card. Basicall any server that I join...about a min into the game...my game thinks im lagging out. But I'm not. I can see all the other players move, talk...I can even chat myself. I can see players shoot each other. But my own character cant move but sounds like is moving and I'm getting the phone jack. But my ping still lists at 30-60 which is awsome. I've tried these solutions. Clean isntalls...I think it doesnt start frezzing untill i install the 1.11 patch not sure gotta look into that more. I tried changing network cards. I tried using the repair option...doesnt work. Next...im gonna try getting it to work without being plugged into my router. That seems fishy because it worked fine for a year until now...but I'll try anyway. Just hoping that someone will have some ideas. Thanks in advance. This board keeps the MOHAA community strong! |
it could be your RAM.
send it to me and i will test it for you. |
lol...ya ok...if u trade in 160 $ for it
|
is your graphic card overheating??
make sure the fan is running...just a thought |
The card is fine....I tried different resolutions and such...its a long shot since the problem lies within networking.. either game or component
im leaning more towards the router idea...but really it doesnt make sense because I played a clan match about 2 hours before I upgraded the hardware and it was fine. After I installed these 4 things (mobo, cpu, memory, psu) is when I started to get this problem. Plus Unreal Tournament runs fine, |
Try the 30.82 drivers, but be sure to remove ALL other NV drivers.
The 40.72 are still official Beta, had some problems with them myself. |
