Spearhead preview at gamespy.com
Hi all,
A preview of Spearhead has been just published on gamespy: http://www.gamespy.com/previews/october02/spearheadpc/ Though it focusses on the SP mainly, it has some pretty screenshots (I think some are new; at least I didn't see them on other sites). Regards |
Ok this is a preview from Computer Games Magazine
[quote:26e67]Multiplayer Medal of HOnor has proven tremendously populare, so the bulk of the expansion is devoted to it, with about a dozen new levels and around ten additional multiplayer maps chosen from the winners of a recent contest. Server admin will finally get to kick or ban players, which should help reduce rampant cheating, and they can limit the available weapons as well. Together with the standard player voting features, it looks like online soldiers will have reason enough to pick up the add-on this holiday season.[/quote:26e67] Whew, alot to type. There was also a mention to the single player additions. 3 missions over 9 maps. Sounds like a worth while expansion. |
don't get your hopes up, limiting the weapons sounds great in text until you actually play it and your team ends up getting slaughtered because the guys who just got it on sale at walmart have taken all the sniper rifles and MGs

My Mastercard is getting anxious for Spearhead to hit the shelves...

The realism servers can now be "more real" by limiting weapons to what a WW2 squad would actually have. Personally i think thats a bit over kill and thats why i dont play Americas army anymore. All people do is whine about weapons and wanting a differant one. |
All I gotta say is the Berlin levels look SWEET! Hopefully we'll have a few MP maps in that style.

i want them to bring out some more levels like the V2 or the Hunt, they are smart levels.
