Another slanted opinion about BF 1942

I am extremely disappointed with this game.
I figured this would be a good single player game but it reminds me of playing a single player match of QIII with Commodore Vic 28 graphics.
Not worth the money IMHO.
Perhaps the novelty lies with being able to operate different pieces of weaponry? I don't know if I'm missing something here but it sucks flying a plane when there are no instruments. Maybe they work with a different video setting? I dunno.............
Just thought I'd share. oOo:

I too was very dissapointed by this game, lots of people absolutly adore it and say its 10 times better than MOHAA. I really dont see how, the playability is -20/20. Besides, its like constantly having people with rockets in mohaa, cos all people ever have is a tank, ffs!

The games shite - spearhead will put the game to shame :)

Sorry guys moved to off topic.

BTW BF is a totaly different type of game. I would compare it to OFP or WW2OL

BF blows.

I bet more people thik it sucks more than they think its good.

I'll make a poll..

DJBUCKSHOT 10-19-2002 09:20 PM

Yes but thats because people who play Medal Of Honor know the truth. :)

If that was the case, would MOHAA be behind bf1942 on the list of the most played games on the net?

ninty 10-19-2002 11:01 PM

MOH has been out for almost a year.

i think the game is badass, i love the ones where your in the citys, but the big huge outdoor maps, those just lower my fps to hell.

More my cock is bigger than yours threads -

As RUDE said, these are two WAY different games. One more time...

MOH is more tight, man to man combat - BF is designed for large scale combat. Of course the game mechanics are going to be different. Or do you REALLY think wars were fought man to man - mano a mano.

The game is fine.

1080jibber 10-20-2002 01:56 AM

the game sucked*

i was all happy at first but the game laggs like a mofo on my comp. and i got an allright comp.

i tryed shuting off the sound but it still sucks, all choppy and sheit

piedude 10-20-2002 02:07 AM

Why complain about the maps being so big? I mean unlike MOHAA, you get to cruse about in Planes, Subs, Destroyers, tanks, half-trucks, jeeps etc etc as well as useing Anti-aircraft guns!

The maps need to be big to accommodate for them!

I think the game is awesome! Sure Spearhead will make MOHAA even better, BUT BF42 certainly aint a bad game!

I don't like it.

Oldguy 10-20-2002 08:02 AM

I really like MOHAA, and I though 1942 would be more like it. I bought it a few weeks ago , played SP for about 4 hours , went back to MOH. freak:
