Also along those lines, if your're a jerk, do you realize it? Same goes for smelly, rude, and annoying people. Do you realize that you are these things?

From my observations, unless you increase your level of awareness and
intelligence to a certain level, it will be hard for you to KNOW you're stupid:
you might be hinted at it by people uttering the word to you once in a while
but it wouldn't be true unless YOU were to realize it somehow, someway at
which point your awareness has increased. Maturity works a little like this...
