Adding maps to dedicated server

I'm running a dedicated server and I've downloaded custom maps but I can't figure out how to get them to load. Can someone tell me how?

If you want to add it to a rotation all you need to do is create a config file with a title like, 1.cfg or what ever you want to call it. Within the config you will add the exact name of the map to the order of how you want it to run.
If you want to just start the map while you are in the server then you would type in the console, (thats the ~ incase you don't know), rcon map dm/mapename then hit enter if you want to run an obj map it would be rcon map obj/mapname then hit enter. Be sure you use the actual map name, not the name given when its zipped. Otherwise it will not fined the map.
As for creating a config that will automatically run a map rotation there is a tut in aa.com which should have be able to help you on that. To activate a roation you would type in the console rcon exec server1.cfg then hit enter.
I hope thats what you needed to know. Good luck in your ventures.

Thanks for the reply, I already have a .cfg and a server running but I'm having trouble when I download maps and try to add them to the rotation in the .cfg. The console shows "cannot find map XXX.bsp" and the server starts with a standard map.

Do I put custom maps in the "main" directory?
Can you give me an example of a .cfg file line with say a map named "Russia"?

Thanks again

Ok heres an example of a config in the server I admin on:

sv_maplist "dm/thunderv1 dm/mohdm6 dm/hitlersfarm dm/mohdm7 dm/arnhem"

You should use a tool like pakscape to unpack the server if the name isn't found which you have typed in to your config. Alot of times the map makers don't list the actual .bsp name. So when you unpack the map go to the maps folder/dm/ name.bsp thats the name of the map which needs to be written in the config. If its off by one letter or space it won't be recognized.

As for map placement. All maps you run on your server need to be installed in the main folder. mohaa/main/map name.

Will this be what you were looking for? Let me know. Sorry if I am not hitting it right on the nose for ya.

Yes,Thank you...now I can run custom maps.

Now let me ask another question. I used to have a stat generator (forgot name) for my Q3 server that would write html pages from the game log...is there anything like this for MOH?
