Hi,

I've followed the instruction on the server tuturial, and I want to start the server. Then when I type in "status" it says the server is not running. What command do I have to use to start the server? eek:

HUH?!

Clarify, your OWN server, or the AA.COM server? Be more specific, man!

What EXACTLY are you trying to do???

You can only send a Status check once you are already connected to the server console. 2 ways to do it basicaly. First is through the actual server console, just use the Status command.
Second method is you have to use rcon Status command if you are not on the ACTUAL server console.

1. In other words if you start the dedicated server (from a script config only, not thru the game)and are looking at the console window you can type Status.
2. If you start the ded server, go to another machine and start a game, bring up the console, you need the server password and tehn you can type rcon Status.
