I need help really bad i have a 56k modem and the ping is 999 is there anyway i could possibly lower it?

theres not really much u can do but it MIGHT help if u close like just about all of your programs when u go into a game. like use the task thing and close just about everything that u dont need. its just a thought but it might help eek:

What version windows, what ISP are you using?

right now the best i can suggest is find a server thats closest to where you live,to ensure the lowest ping possible. either that or do like the rest of us and get broadband ;)
