I saw the movie on dvd, and i jus got bored out of my mind cause it's mainly talking, hardly any action i jus went sleep:

i've never seen it. I also have it on my computer. I was awtching them both at the same time. It was freaky! oOo:

Gladiator is on channel 3 in america

if it aint channel 3 for you its ABC

it was alittle boring. like blitz-krieg said, there wasnt enough action.

apperently you havent heard of storyline and plot

...or read the book, which is excellent.

Book = NOT MOVIE.

Movie = NOT BOOK.

Thanks for that...it's just, every so often, a movie based on a book will share
a lot of storyline and dialogue with that book!...bizarre, I know... oOo:

yes, but this movie is just boring, goes on and on.

I would say it was a festival/war film....It is more of a character analysis piece than an action film depicting the physical horrors of war, like SPR. I believe the makers were trying to depict the mental impact of soldiers at war, in TRL.

...yeah, it highlighted that for many soldiers it was like 95% anxiety-loaded boredom,
and 5% life or death, state-sanctioned mayhem...
I think it's a lot like BoB, where not every episode is full on battle but more about individuals and military structure...
sure, the movie could have done without the "...why's a flower, why's a tree..." bits....whatever. happy:
