Spear Head Demo - Realism Mods
 

OK guys this is bad news.....

I've just tested a very simple weapons mod on Spearhead and EA have crippled ALL use of modified PK3 files.

If you try anything at all which is not standard you get the following error:

"Demo Files Corrupt"

Anyone got any more info on this. IF this is EA's policy for the full game, I will be recommending none of my clan buys it and we'll stick with MOHAA.

Yeah, the demo cannot be modded via an internal CRC check, it looks like. However, server side mods (like realism) should work on the retail version.
