Bad Fps in Spearhead
 

I was just wondering if anyone else has been getting very bad fps in spearhead. Im getting about 20-30 fps when just standing and when im in a skirmish i go down into the red. It never happened to me before in mohaa. I have all my video settings on low and it doesnt seem to help..any suggestions?

i think they fucked up on a bunch of things. everyones havin problems with things so hopefully they fixed them when it comes out

What is weird though is that everyone with game problems are all getting differnet ones. None are the same which I find VERY odd...

The only problem that I have, is that sometimes the game just crashes for no reason after a round has finished and the next one loads up. I doesn't happen often (maybe once an hour) but it is something that needs to be fixed.

Remember when the Allied Assault Demo was released, everyone had problems with Frame Rate... Im sure they'll clear that up once the game is released. Also, most demos run slower than the actual game does... And I've also noticed that the sub pen level is slower than the Malta level. Malta runs fine on my machine, but i get some slowdown on the Sub Pen. just like in Allied Assault, some levels run faster than others. Take "The Bridge" for example. It runs a lot slower than "Algiers". The sub pen level might just be one of thoes slow running levels. Anyway, im sure when they release the full version, the Frame Rate will speed up. :)

Flash you BIOS.

I did this and now get 40-60.

And no lag on SUB PEN.

I'm getting over a 100 the lowest it goes is 70.

Yea - I just got off a server getting 50-70fps at max settings.

How do i go about doing this task?

well i have a Gainward GF4 Ti4600 and my fps is 60 max, usually 30 or so :(

To flash your bios you need to go to the website of your manufacturer. There they will ask you what MOBO you have in the downloads section. What you want to do is find the latest 'revision' for your MOBO.

With mine it gave me a "utility" to make the Bios-Flash Disk, and I followed the instructions to "flash" my BIOS which basically brings you MOBO up to snuff. It helps your MOBO better communicate with all your system devices.

The U-Boat map is a frame killer in certian areas. The main sub bay, and a room holding a few torpedos seems to kill frames badly. I dropped from 85FPS to 20FPS when I enter the U-Boat bay. Try running Auto-Config in the SH Demo directory, and retry the game.
