Spearhead server req question
 

Posted this on the mohadmin forums, but since there are more ppl posting and viewing this forums i'll give it a try here to.

I need to upgrade the server but my cash flow is really low, so i'm thinking of getting a celeron 1,4ghz with 1024 megs of ram....can i run a spearhead server with this hardware or is it too weak?

Celeron is a processor designed for multitasking ONLY applications, but not intense graphics or even running dedicated servers. You should either use a P3, P4, or Athlon system for your server, with at least 1.0Ghrz clock speed. 1024MB RAM is plenty.
