"VIS" texture and "vis calculations"..do
Anyone have an idea how the 'vis' texture in the /common folder works? I was guessing/hoping that it worked like the other 'clip' textures and somehow would aid in stoping the vis-line-of-sight and have the engine calc like a real solid wall was there. Way off base? I used in one or two areas of a big outdoor map and it didn't seem to make a big difference. But that assumes I applied it perfectly to block all vis angles in its direction.
