[Spearhead] ammunition limitations [/Spearhead]
I was running a server last night with a buddy of mine and we were running around exploring the maps. Sometimes with the rifles or something, I'd end up with a few clips, and he'd always end up with one clip of ammunition. It was messed up, the poor guy had no ammo. There was no server setting that I changed to do this, and yet sometimes he'd have a few clips, but most of the time he'd just have one clip. (He was playing axis) And the game type was Team Match. Does anyone know what's up with this?

Rumor is that there will be settings for the amount of ammo you can have/use in SH, along with which weapons can be used. Dunno if it's true yet, though.

Yeah.. I think the lack of ammo was to balance weapons... So once you start adding ammo your basically making an unbalanced Jedi MOD.
|
I think it was good that you run out of ammo. I actually had to bash people with my STG to keep the gate closed lol.

What really pisses me off is that teh SVT-40 gets less ammo than all teh other sniper rifles.
true, EARLY IN THE WAR the Soviets had shortages, but by 1944-1945 their "shock armies" (armies centeres around armored corps, designed for Blitzkreig style attack) had supplies up the wazoo. Lend lease was supplying much of the fuel, raw resources, and rations and the Soviet industry geared to produce mainly guns, vehicles, and a SHITLOAD OF AMMO. |
none of this helps
every weapon it seemed on the axis side had only one clip... 30 rounds or so. i don't want it to balance anything. I want old school MOHAA with new maps. I don't want realism. I don't want grenade launching Mauser rifles. EA: WTF? I'm glad I didn't pay for this because I'd be highly disappointed. Axis got two new skins, allies got 5 or so. No new axis weapons, couple of new allied weapons. Realism mod feel all the time. Two maps that I've been playing since the map maker was released, and missing options that were promised in the previews. pure shit. |
