(Full release) spearhead crashes in MP at 25% while loading maps.....
always.........

But runs great in single player......!

I have nothing extra in the "mainta"-directory.....

I only have extra pk3's etc in the "main"-directory, like
extra maps, skins and cfg's........so i took these all out
and still wont work......whats wrong? ALways crashes when
progressbar is around 25%.........

Reference Computer Help Guide:

Problem: Cannot print
Solution: Reboot computer

Problem: Can't connect to the internet
Solution: Reboot computer

Problem: Computer won't turn on
Solution: Reboot computer

Problem: Computer won't reboot
Solution: Reboot computer

Problem: MP wont work for Spearhead 25% of the time

Or just reinstall... if it comes down to it.

forgot to mention: this all happens when running my own server (not the dedicated .exe, but through the GUI).......i havent tried connecting to any online other server yet......

Oh, btw when i mean crash, i mean: completely leaving the game and be back on the windows-desktop.....gone!

And as far as that reset....hehe.....nope.....doesnt help....reinstall dito.

My computer crashed like more than 10 times before i finally realized what's going on. Yes, if you join other servers, nothing happens. You play sp, nothing happens. When you start your own mp, it crashes as the map is loading at some point. Right? I had the same problem. I think it has something to do with mods, skins, and all that stuff made for AA. All you need to is to take all these mods, skins off the main folder. Everything will be just fine. Trust me! My game runs great without any problems. Good Luck, buddy. By the way, if you take all the mods out, and it still doesnt' work. Listen to me, man, you must have missed something in there. freak:

That's really fugged up they made it like that.. specially with all the cheaters.

i DID take everything out of the main map, like you said (blood mods, skins, ubersound fixes etc. except custom maps).......still....same problem......

It couldnt be those custom maps??????????????????????????????

I read about a server fix from spearhead on the mohadmin.com forum.....maybe thats it?

I know this is a dumb question, but are you sure you added all of the maps to the rotation list?

Where should that file be then.....in main or mainta? In pak?

Max 512? Can it be a memory error? Try running Auto-Config in the system directory.

At this point, I'll try anything, because I have never heard of any of these errors.

I had the same problem, but I uninstalled MOHAAS & MOHAA and deleted the directory and re-installed. No more probolems. I haven't gone back and tried re-adding mods to see what did it, but I am assuming it was a mod that caused the problem. Hope this helps...

Remember: When in doubt - reboot. When that doesn't work - re-install. And if all else fails - reformat!

I had the same problem...I took all mods/skins/maps out that were'nt from the game itself. I had one file cause the problem.
It was obj map Dasboot!!!
Everything is great now!! Thanks for all the help in here guys
