Spearhead FPS--ick
 

yeah, my fps are horrid. does anyone have the true reason why? i mean, i get better fps on unreal tournament 2003 than i do on this QUAKE III beast.

that dense FOG that they love to use in SpearHead. Man I thought Crossroads was bad sometimes.

Yeah. The fps are really bad. In Allied Assault i got maybe betweeen 50-200, except on omaha and the bridge...but in spearhead it's really low sometimes. I got under 10 atleast 5 times in the SP missions

Good lord...I don't have a prayer.

I'm guessing Spearhead will have to wait until next year when I can afford a new machine.

I suck.


Zone

Alot of the new features (weapons, enviroment settings, map textures) can slowly eat away at a system. MOH alone was a big system hog, I didn't expect MOH:SH to be better.

Expansion Pack
 

Traditionally expansion packs didnt mean you had to upgrade your graphics card either.

same here with the FPS. i mean i have all settings down with 800x600 resolution on a 64mb card, and that ardennes map is pathetic! 11.2 FPS. fuckin unreal. all the other maps drain my card too. this is pathetic. i like the game, but the FPS is really discouraging me. it cant be the maps.

also, have you guys ever noticed that the console spits out alot of crap? when i play SP i see in the console, "Blah blah, cant find file". it scrolls that continuously. and in SP, right near the health bar it says, NPCs Allies Axis. anyone know how i can turn this off. thanks.

Wow, this is weird. My FPS are actually BETTER in Spearhead than allied assault. Lucky me i guess biggrin: .

maybe if you set developer 0 ... dunno if it would be worth it though.

So is mine, still sucks by most stanards but it does seem to be better.

Hey guys, I was having a problem with my second sound card (the one using TeamSpeak), it would quit working occasionally. I noticed it happening with certain maps, Malta for instance (and I was getting crappy fps like <20) . I installed an updated driver for my sound card and when I went into Malta, not only did teh Teamspeak still work, my fps went to betweeen 70-90. Dont know how or why or if it would be the same for the full version, but I found that rather interesting.

man this is getting me down, im downloading the demo right now, but after hearing that people with 128mb Graphics are getting 15 FPS is scaring me lol, i have a 16mb voodoo graphics card which runs ace on Moh:aa i usually get between 50-70 FPS with the graphics at around medium level. i have an Intel OnBoard graphics card which is 32mb and i downloaded the OpenGL drivers for it but MoH is still using my voodoo card, how do i use the intel card? cos when i click on configure it says the voodoo card is bieng used.

I was getting horrible FPS on the single player missions right after I installed it. i had to turn the resolution down to 600x800 and all of the video and graphic settins way down. Even still my G4 Ti4400 was jumping around a lot. I quit the game and then and reset the graphics and video to the highest settings and it was fine. Kinda weird.

My questions is why is there no 1200x1600 resolution in spearhead?
