How many more medal of honor games can EA release?

Between the console and pc versions theyve pretty much covered most of the main aspects of the european war.

Suppose it could be americans vs the japanese in the next version.

For some reason i don't find the prospect of fighting a load of japs not one of them being over 5 foot 6 paticuarly appealling\scary though. eek:

I can just picture it now Medal of Honor: Attack of the tojo's.

The Pacific Theater would be the next logical step if EA were to make another Medal of Honor game.

I shudder to think of what kind of crappy FPS I'd get in a jungle setting... oOo:

I wonder if EA will ever update the engine behind the MOH series. The latest UT engine does look nice and could probably do wonders for MOH.

Only time will tell.

Yah, not that Q3 is bad or anything, but the newer gaming engines being developed and used can bring promises to games today, along with Doom III's.

I would like to see a pacific theatere moh, it would be a lot of fun, except that i think it might need to include some airplanes and stuff.

but imagine all the "fucking jungle hack" accusations that would be going around?

Why do we only get to play as an american soldier? Another MoH:U is what i say!

11-14-2002 11:46 AM

because EA is an American company focusing on selling to the American people? you basically get to play as british and russians in spearhead, they might call you barnes a few times but you're using their weapons and there are no other americans around for some strange reason

Why woudl you think that EA would do that? Why make a completely new game when they can add a few skins and weapons to MOHAA, 1/5 th of a single player game, mp maps that arent as good as free maps and still have guys lined up to give them $35 for it? There will be expansion packs until the demand dies.

Damn, I need a new game. And SH just doesnt seem like it is going to fill that need. I will probably still get it, but it looks like a short term distraction more than anything.

For a few times already, EA folks have said that there's a ton more to explore in the European theater. I personally would like to see something different. The Pacific theater would be a welcome change in the MOH games. One thing I think they'll incorporate in the next version of MoH, is some good ol' dogfights. That would be sweet. ed:

I would definitely like to see a Pacific Theater game. With all the press coverage that the European Theater received during the war, the conflict in the Far East was somewhat ignored.

Also, how about a game that focuses on the Eastern Front? biggrin:

Let me look into my crystal ball.............I see something for the next patch, it will be some maps and skins the community made and they are going to sale it back to us.
