Keyboard control
Hello all,
I just got my copy of Spearhead today, and had the following problem while playing: MOH doesn't recognize my numeric pad anymore, both shift, alt and control buttons do exactly the same (so LSHIFT behaves like RSHIFT,...) Does anyone know how to solve this problem. (My config worked perfectly in MOHAA, I'd really like to use it in MOHSH as well...) Thanks, Fox |
that is weird mine works fine...

Do you have a special keyboard? Like a logitech with all those fancy-schmansy shortcut keys?
|
Yes, I have one. (Logitech with the large blue button area on top)
|
This could be why. Try to uninstall any drivers you may have for it in your Add/Remove Programs, reboot then try MOH again. If nothing, you may need to reinstall MOH:SH.
Also, you might want to try to get the latest drivers for the keyboard if that doen't work, and disable the special keys in the Keyboard Control Panel, this may do the trick too. |
okay, I'll try that
Any idea why it worked in AA and not in SH? |
None, unless you changed certian key bindings in MOH from MOH:SH. Could just be compatibility between the two, but it is odd.
|
I used exactly the same custom.cfg. In fact, SH just loads the one that is in mohaa\main...
I tried uninstalling the iTouch, but it didn't help, now I'll reinstall SH...I'll keep you informed... Enjoy Fox |
Well, the reinstall doesn't work either...any other suggestions?
|
I have the same Problem! Really sucks! Once you got used to play one way...
I noticed that it first occured after installing the v 1.1 patch. Strangely one could still use the num keys, but you couldn't change them. After installing SH one couldn't even use them anymore. Could be a LOGITECH problem... Any more suggestions? -= BRAiNSEN =- |
Probably a logitech software problem.. Logitech is a prime example of fixing things that aren't broken. They've tweaked there software to the point it just sux now.
I have a cheap ass DELL Quietkey keyboard you can pick up for 15 bucks at most computer stores.. Dude.. Get a DELL.. oh.. |
