Spearhead! The big let down!
 

Ok first off I want to say don't fuckin flame this shit like "It's awesome! Your just stupid" or any of that bullshit. I'm giving my up most straigh answer, after being enveloped into the game for a couple hours. Back to the point! I finally got the game isntalled after much set backs from EA's crappy install program. I go into the SP game and goes pretty smooth, until I reach an 88, and no knowledge on how to use it? Finally got it figured out and played a couple missions. It's fun, except for the Enfield fire skipping! I make my way to the MP games and am just totally let down by everything! 4 of the maps in the game were made by AM's?! ( There good maps, just shows how EA is lazy as a mofo) I auto select and get on the Axis team only to see that about half the teams are rocketing and lan sharking! BAH! I go to select a weapon and notice that the Mauser/nade addtion isn't in there. By now I'm pissed and just want to return the game to EB, but I press on. I look at the weapons, then look again. "Wheres the new weapons?" 1! count em 1 new weapon for Axis! WTF?! It's the Gweher43 sniper rifle? First off, that is a pretty big historical inaccruarcy seeing as the 43 had a huge recoil prob it was never used by the Sniper division of German Army. It was, however, used for regular assault. So then I go through maps lookign for a port. MG42 only to relize that it's just another EA fuck up! Reg foot soldiers barely used that MG setup for field ops. I mean honestly, in battles they would never have time to set it up like that! I would have loved for them to put it on a cradle of somtin to that extent. So in all, SH was the biggest let down in gamming for me. I was looking through past forums and news, and I recall that one of the EA reps talked about the Fallschimjager rilfe being in the exp? What about the SDK? Whatever, I'll still have to play it for clan sake, but this is the last dollar EA will get from me. Peace, and keep on killing.

im not flaming you but IMO i think its awesome, the graphics got much better and i like the tug-of-war

Graphics wise, it's kinda better. It's better, but not rough on my shitty comp. That was plus, but there is a lot of negs.

Im not flaming you but that landsharking is just a video glitch. No one is landsharking. Its a glitch that will and hope be fixed in the patch. The mauser nade launcher will be in the patch so no worries there.

How exactly did you not know how to use the 88? The use button was in allied assault and its in this and ha the same function. ALso when you approach one you get this message.

Um no, the g-43 WAS used by axis sniper but it had a tendancy to jam because of the high amount of moving parts it had inside it, most axis snipers stuck to the kar because of that reason.

Ive never seen the devs say the fg-42 was gonna be in the addon, we didn't know what weapons were gonna be in it till just before the demo.

As for the mg-42 you're right there but seeing as theres no prone theres no other way it coulda been put into the game.

I really hope that landsharking thing is a video glitch because it really drives me nuts. I saw a lot of guys using that. I thought it was some kind of new stupid, annoying technique. Personally, I have no problem with leaning/running. But, if this damn landsharking still exists even after the next patch, i'm done with sp. I will go back to AA.
