lol sgt scrotum. mine was worse
celeron 500mhz 128mb ram voodoo 3 3000 pci 16mb videocard the processor was better, but the video card makes up for that lol |
If you have the cash id say go Alienware. They are going to give yout he best gaming PC you can get, but if you wanna spend $5,000.00 + (American), at least when i customized mine to see what id have to sepnd thats what i got, then go for it, ull be happy.
If money is in your concern..id say you have two options: 1: Build your own, you can make a great system for as low as a few hundred with some nice mhzage etc 2: You can buy a dell for about 800 bucks...that will come with a p4 at liek 1.4 - 2.0 gigs with a nice size HD, prob a GeForce 2 64mb and a stock sound card. Now, with that you can ask santa to bring you a nice GeForce 3 Ti 500 (dont get gf4 they do more harm then good, they cost you an arm and a leg and they just blow ass) and an Aduigy sound card..pop those in and ull be set to go. ALl with this youll get XP Home edition plus a decent program package, ya know MS Office XP etc etc those are the routes id go |
Get the kind that works.

Hey, I build custom computers for people, email me if you'd like to look into that garasaki@aol.com
Depending on what options you want, you could go as low as 750 bucks for a decent gaming system, although I'd recommend something at about 1150 for something pretty nice. But, whatever you do, don't buy a dell...blah!! |
all i can say is how much money are u willing to spend.
Pentium 4 by dell are apparently good although i got mine customized biggrin: <------------FUNNY! |

speaking of an OS. Isn't thier an OS that only reads 256 megs of your ram, regardless how much you have?
I'm building a new computer next summer - you can get the same stuff as Alienware, sometimes better and get a better price. |
Microsoft OS before 2000 have "RAM caps" on them...
Just build with XP you'll be fine |
