Spearhead retail version Sever Listing "in game browser
 

Although my server is listed in GameSpy, I cannot get it to list as a Dedicated Server from within the "in game browser"
I have searched for threads that are similar, and have taken some advised as posted, but I still cannot get my Dedicated Server to list from within the "in game Browser"

I have notice that from the PC where I actually play from if I uncheck "show all dedicated servers" from the filter list, my Dedicated Server shows up.

I guess it s a Bug accompanied with spearhead.

Anyone care to add , or have a fix for ?


I have successfully launched many MOHAA, AND EVEN THE DEMO MOHAAS

But since the retail release , I am unable to get my Dedicated Server to list from the "in game browser"

I know its stumped me too....


Anyway I think its a bug in SH........
As soon as you uncheck filter for dedicated servers.... then and only then will my dedicated server show in the "in game browser"

all i can say is there be a patch

they'll come out with a patch

A patch for the patch !!! for the upgrade patch!!! so we can spend mo money on a big patch!!! cause if the patch didnt work they will release another patch for the patch!!!!




HMM . ... Seems like ive been doing the same patch since I have been playin FPS ........

allright here's the Solution :)

As we guys @ http://www.mohadmin.com figured out, Spearhead needs not only set dedicated "1" to be set in .cfg file but also seta ui_dedicated "1" to be listed as dedicated. The funny thing it's not necessary on all machines, but on some! Don't ask me why, ask EA!
