Creative Labs still makes the best sound cards in my opinion.

not for most dont you know about the crappy pci latency problem. BAH

I already have Audigy and it dont work right (lock ups and crap) its a PCI latency problem so why would I buy audigy 2

I've always felt that those who actually buy SOUND cards to increase the extra "oomph" in the sound of a bullet being fired, are the same folks who download "nude Lara Croft"-mods, and who think spelling "pwned" is some sign of a highly evolved internet guru.

I have a Soundlaster Live! and I've never had a problem with it...great card.

Uh huh and if you actually read about stuff before you buy it you might come across the benchmarks. Did you ever think that maybe some people dont want the loss of frame rate because the card sucks and creates a cpu load.

Ahhhh - that was just a general diss against folks who think that plugging speakers in and plugging a pair of KOSS headphones into said speakers is somehow WOEFULLY underqualified to deliver a gang-banging good sound experience.
