Serious Problem with Zonealarm Pro and GTA3.....HELP!!!!!!!!

Ok something seemed to happen that really fucked up my Zonealarm. Whenever I tried to run the program I get this error program for Zapro?!
So I decided to uninstall everything and reboot. Still an error. I did this like dozen time but I still get this error message for Zapro. Anyways I decide to use a different zonealarm so I dl the trial version. I STILL GET AN ERROR message. I delete the folder and remove everything and reinstall but I still getting that darn error.

Also I have this problem with my computer casue it wont run GTA3. I install it and then run it but the game always goes to this screen with the cartoon drawing (you know all those drawings with the gangsters) and it just stays on that screen forever. The computer just crashes.
I tried dl new drivers but it aint work. Here is my specs:

Pentium 4 1.3Ghz
256 Ram
Geforce 4MX 64 MB
50Gigabytes
Avance Logic Soundcard

you managed to not say what the error message was.
quote it exactly if you need a fix.
alternatively get rid of zonealarm and download the free kerio firewall which is excellent for gaming.

I tried deleting the VSDATA.DLL and reinstalling zonealarm but I still get a error message. I think their is something corrupting the VSDATA.DLL. It get installs on to the computer, I delete it and reinstall to get a new VSDATA.DLL from Zonealarm but it dosent work.

Someone help me! cry:

Wut about Norton? Is that good?

Bazooka_Joe 11-27-2002 10:30 AM

Personal Firewall is good, but let's try this first:

1) Uninstall ZoneAlarm

2) Increase your Virtual memory. Do this by right-mouse clicking My Computer>Proprties. Then choose the Performance tab. Set the memory to Double your physical memory, then round it to the next 50th digit. (so if you have 128MB of RAM, make the minimum amt of virtual 300, and Maximum 350)

3) Reboot

4) Click [url=http://mohaa.xgshosting.com/joe/installguide.htm:43172]HERE[/url:43172], and follow steps 3-5 ONLY!

5) Reboot

Now, try reinstalling ZoneAlarm. If you still get the same problem, get a different program, like BlackICE Defender, or Norton Personal Firewall.
