Jumps vs Beach
 

Which of these (Omaha Beach in MOHAA, or Normandy in SH) was more fun to play/better put together, etc?

Personally, i'd go with Omaha, but Normandy was damn good as well.

The jump was just: float to earth, kill guys.

Omaha, i bought the game because of it.

I was in EB spending my gift certicate on some lame ass game (Kohan) and i saw on a tv the omaha level. I was like, shit that game is sweet. The guy at the counter gave me the demo to try. However i still had a p2 233 evil: . So i couldn't play it for a few months after the demo came out.

Eh, the jump wasn't all that great, but it REALLY reminded me of Band Of Brothers, Episode 2.

i liked them both, but i'm leaning towards omaha. i agree it was very scripted in which it was a "duck-behind-obstacle-get-shot-at-get-up-and-run-to-next-obstacle" level...storming those bunkers really kicked ass. I really felt like a baddass going in with firepower blazing. The jump IS cool...but i didn't get the feeling that i was actually in danger. omaha.

I liked the video lead in to Normandy in SH, however, Omaha is more exciting... then again, i really liked the battle fo the bulge... ;) Which is what we should be comparing in my eyes.. :P
