Movie command
 

I was told last night that there was a command that you can type into the console that will let you make a AVI movies while your playing. Does anyone know if thats true or what the command is?

Sorry, that's untrue. The game was stripped of the .AVI movie feature. you can only make a movie by:

1) Using a command in RCON that constantly takes pictures while in the game, so you can turn those screenshots into a .GIF animation.

2) Get a TV-Tuner card and record your game to a VHS/DV device.

Whats that rcon command, and, does it show the shoot/12.tga taken crap?

This starts the pictures. Replace the <KEY> with the key you want to take to start taking pictures. Replace <FPS> with how many FPS you want the pictures taken at. So, it should look like this:

[code:09b24]bind [ "cl_avidemo 20"[/code:09b24]

To stop the picutres from being taken, type:

[code:09b24]bind <KEY> "cl_avidemo 0"[/code:09b24]
