Video Drivers.
ok i am currently using a 16mb VooDoo card yeah go on and laugh :D, but i have an intel onboard graphic card whcih is 32mb and i checked on the intel website and it says the chipset is compatible with OpenGL so i want to use it with MoH but ive installed all the drivers for it and MoH still uses the voodoo card for some reason, shud i have downloaded the intel drivers? instead of downloading nVidia or ATI drivers because ive heard that people have d/led those drivers and the card worked fine, can someone help me out thanks.

unplug your voodoocard, remove the drivers from it?
|
no way!
no way thats too much hassle, i want to use the 32mb card because when i use the voodoo one theres a problem with the game that makes the windows all black so i cant see through them :P

well probably its the only way m8
|
MOH probably selects the VooDoo because its the better card. oOo:
|
hmmmm
so isnt there anyway to make MoH change it?
|
Download the intel drivers. On board video and that voodoo you wont be able to run SH with it. I have 2 computers one with a GF2mx400 and the other with a GF4. The mx400 runs pretty good to a point. Your best bet is to go to http://www.ebay.com and look for a good video card. SH far as i know might be wrong doesnt support voodoo cards. DOnt use on board graphics its sucks.

Unless you know how to do this, consider NOT doing it, this CAN screw up your system if done incorrectly.
You can try to disable your VooDoo card in your hardware profile. First, right-mouse click your My Computer, and choose Properties. At the top, choose Device Manager. Now, I'm at school so I can't see the properties, but look for one called Video, I think. There should be 2 Graphics cards under there. If there are two, disable the VooDoo card by right-mouse clicking it, choose properties, then checkmark the box saying "Disable in the Hardware Profile". Now, press OK, and you will have to probably reboot. See if this fixes your problem. |
ok thanks
ok guys thanks for your help but i think the best thing to do is to buy the GeForce 2 card not a bad price either, only £49.99 for 64mb's too. is this a good idea or do u guys know where to get a better video card for the same price, cheaper or a little bit over?
