SDK - Where is it?
 

Dunno if this has been posted before, but isn't anyone missing the SDK? Didn't EA promise to release one with spearhead? I'm not sure if this is correct, but I'd like to know if its ever gonna show up.

yeah we WERE supposed to get it, but then again it is EA were talking about/ hake:

they r realsing the SDK in sometime near christmas..as a chrtismas present .. I THINK .i herad it somewhere

This xmas? Or next year? Maybe they'll release it in a expansion pack next year. Only 39.95...

EA is cliche and obvious like that (just look at the way the game is soooo much like SPR (Omaha), Where Eagles Dare (blasting through the corridors in Trondheim and Shmerzen), Kelly's Heroes(the tank, Oddball style assault), and the Indy films. (algiers, the sub pen, and the music)

what i am asking is specifically why do you need it?

i know that a lot of mods were waiting for it so they could make new models that could be imported into the game. then they got the milkshape hack that allows this anyway.

AFAIK the only people that have stated they are waiting for it for a specific purpose and appear to have the ability to use it are the people waiting to develop cheats for the game.

lets say it got released yesterday..... what would you be doing with it today after waiting all this time ?

developing cheats of course,what else. That is what i live for....duuuuh

I'm not a modder myself, I just wondered where it was, because EA promises alot and never keeps the promise.

By the may, the SDK is needed so that modders can fix mem leaks, bugs, map holes, new patches that fixes bugs etc etc. You'll have to wait for xmas 2003 if you want EA to patch it. Expect Exp.Pack yet again....

who specifically has put their hand up to take over EAs job patching this game for these things?

im not asking what is possible with the SDK i am asking who needs it for what. like i said i still know of only one group of people who would be using it today if it was out.
