ACK! I went to install and it asked me for a 16 digit CD case key, and it won't accept my AOL Messanger screen name!!!!! mad: mad: mwah:

This happened to me I had no CD-Key...then I re-downlaoded it and it gave me a link to FilePlanet for my CD-Key, after I registered, it sent me the CD-Key too. I uninstalled it...since I never played it...I didn't want to give them my CC #.

can i have your cd key?

I don't remember it, I deleted it...along with The Sims Online.

You have to give them one. I don't know why they want a CC # though...?

You need a CC because in the full version it will cost money to play online.

This is a beta so its in there, however they won't charge it, or so they say. Don't take my word for it. My mom wouldn't let me use her card and I don't have one of my own so i'm SOL.

Same thing with me Ninty. I didn't even download it, I would have wasted about 9 hours, just to find out I can't use the CC#.
