ATI GRAPHICS CARD.........8500LE TERRIBLE FPS Need help
Hey I have this new ATI radeon 8500LE. When i bought the people said it would deliver ultimate gaming. I am now disgusted with an FPS of 15-50. Can anyone help me raise this with setup's or some help to get my FPS up to at least 100- 120 like it should be. Please help

Well, I'm no expert on video cards but I hear that ATI RADEONS don't get along very well with some computers. As far as your settings go, I don't think there is a whole lot you can do about it. Can you give me your system specs please? Also if your motherboard is not very good, your powerful video card may be overclocking too often. I know that wasn't muuch help but good luck.

i have a ati radeon 7500 128mb card...and i too had this horrible fps problem....i used to run windows Me, and i would only get like 15-20 fps on all maps! and on snowy it would fall down to under 10..it was unplayable...what fixed my problem was i finally got windows xp proffessional and reformatted. i found that my rates dramitically increased and since then i enjoy 45 fps during firefights outdoors and steady at 99fps inside in V2 rocket facility. i remember posting a thread very similiar to this one months ago..but i am too lazy to find it lol....many ppl suggested a new motherboard, but i gave up on that because since i had a factory bought dell machine...i didnt want to risk swiping it out only to have nothing work at all heh. my advice would be a clean reformat of your whole hard drive....and then reinstall everything...that should take care of any issues you have.
