level editor
 

i have downloaded level editor of the mohaa offical site. i have abasic pc knowledge, is it going to be too complicated or should i persevere. or is there an easier way of making my own maps.your views would be appreciated.

I also only knew the basic PC information, but if you read the right tutorials and actually follow them properly you shouldn't have a problem, below is where I got most of my tutorials;

I'm pretty up to date with how to edit, its just the scripting thats difficult.

i want to get level editor, i tried to get mbuilder, but couldnt, it is supposed to be easy, i have basic computer knowledge along with basic programming, can i do it? also, do u know where to get a good soldier skin editor?

Keep practicing! I sat with it for weeks until I even started a test map...It's gets really frustrating at times but, it's fun as shit to create maps.

Mbuilder is just a compiler aid... it doesn't have anything to do with actually building a map.

Skins are just TGAs and JPGs... any decent paint/photo program will work.

okay thanx, i have adobe, a kinda sucky adition, but it worked fine to make my sig, which actually dosnt work, it simply shows up as the weblink i uploaded it to...hmm... and i actually was trying to get mbuilder at .map, it sent me to somewhere else, where there actually was no dl link 4 mbuiler, hake: but oh well cool:

First go to http://www.dafront.com/~nemesis.
Next you will see a bunch of categories on the left hand side of the page, click on Files under the "Downloads" section.
This next page has all the downloads you need to make your own maps, including MBuilder.

P.S This site also offers you all the tutorials you need to start building.

The link that JV posted is from the .map link to download MBuilder - its just we have to host our files on Fileplanet - its a little annoying but its free hosting.......

Nem's site is quite good but he's got some basic mapping errors in his tuts that will "hurt" you in the long run
