URGENT - How to set server to require a password?????
 

My clan is hosting our first match tomorrow night on our server and i need to know how to configure my server's config file so that the server requires a password. can anyone please help me out with this?!?!?

Setting server for private
 

Add this to the server.cfg file then reboot the server
for it to take effect

set sv_maxclients "18"
set sv_privateClients "18"
set sv_privatepassword "clangame"

18 total - all private
password is clangame

how do you enter a password, haven't figured that out yet

Rcon password
 

First off... you must be the server admin or a person
that has been given the rcon password

From the pull down in game menu, you type

rcon rconpassword then whatever command you want

Lets say the rcon password is set to gametime

You wanna kick someone?

From the in game console type

rcon gametime status
Look for the player number next to the players name you want to kick

rcon gametime clientkick 5

Kicks player 5
