Editing shader and tik files
does anyone know how to edit the shader and both tik files for a custom skin?
|
Use Notepad, Wordpad, or any other text editor. If you don't know what to edit, et cetera, ask and I'll tell you.

what do i edit

In the shader files, you change the item (the names on the very left side) to something like skincoat, then change the filepath to wherever you want to put the image. I use textures/myskin, so it's easy.
In the tik files, you'll see "surface something shader item", but something and item will be different names. Change item to the name you used in the shader, for example, skincoat. |
i tried that and it didnt work
