a clan member came forward the other day an said they accidentally downloaded some skins he thought sounded cool - until he tried them.

he can apparantly see anyone anywhere (behind walls, at ur spawn point) and the skin changes colour when u are either in the line of sight or not..

erm...how do we combat this? is mohaa doomed?

seen it, tested it... there's plenty of cheating things like that around

the only way u can combat this kinda thing is to have the server remove the ability for the player to force models.... (as far as i know anyway)

you wouldnt happen to know how would you? we desperatly need that so we can rig our clan server an make sure we never get skin cheated

Someone with more knowledge of it my want to jump in here but I think it can be done with the a prg called DMZ dogtag it can be found at MOHadmin.com in their dl section. A true cheater can easily get around this prg however so it will not stop everyone, but it will stop the knuckleheads. Also another good prg is Delator (mohadmin.com) or Counter Intelligance (invisiblewarriors.com)

I just played someone who told me they used this mod. Now, me being a sniper, its really gay because they know where you are! The whole point of being a sniper is camouflage, and silence. Damn, this mod is pissing me off already.

from what i hear its very easy to get around the dogtagz thing, i dont belive this will be the end of mohaa cuz cheating gets boring, as it did for me back in the days of diablo 2, so i figure after a few months or so this will pass and there will be a newer and better hack..

well man it wasnt an accidental download. those are BoBaLLoOo's Chameleon Skins based off of the ones IssisX did that glow through walls... bob's change colors when an object is infront of a guy, so when he is behind a ladde ru get the texture of a ladder on the guy, blah blah. anyways they work like a charm and uhm dogtags is a joke. how about u guys tell me a server that runs dogtags... ill post up some screenies of my forced models. =D it can be bypassed by either setting ALL your skins as neons or just hexediting a dll changing cg_forcemodels to w/e u would prefer it ebing and using that to toggle forcemodels.

The cheat site that got shut down about a month or so ago, is back up. I've been looking to see who their provider is, so I could contact them.

I think they are still down. But there are other cheat forums.

well MPC is back baby, just the multiplayercheats page for it hasnt yet been updated. Silver X Hacks is up and has been booming since MPC went down. You also got unknown cheats where most n00bs go and online gaming cheats where its mostly flame & spam with little to no hacks. Then you got game deception which houses a few cheats, but mostly C++ and openGL tutorails and a great forum where u can get help when you need it. thats about it for the cheat sites. im a moderator on the moh forums @ SxH & MPC. i also am a download moderator for SxH and i hope to soon be a moderator on OGC. anyways u guys can hate qcurve for bypassing dogmeat's work. anyways im out, just trying to keep things straight. PLEASE before u are an anticheater, be more like joe and actually take the time to know the hacks out there. next time i hear someone say aimbot cheater, i think im gonna flip!

well i dont play with cheats anymore, just love to make em. anyways with a name like cookie monster i think u know i want the cookie. :D btw, in nmy last post i forgot about age of kings which started off as the sof2 clan for MPC but has detached itself.... still not a bad forum for moh cheat support. its like an anything goes forum, but its not very active.
