Ways to catch cheaters
 

I'm kinda new to all of these wallhack cheats, and I know their are ways to detect them, but I don't know them. Could anyone tell me how to get them? And, is there anyway to detect wallhackers when you are in another person's server? I didn't think there was, but just checking

For neon/bright skins, use Delator.

To stop people from clipping in maps, or using the maps flaws against other players, get Dogmeat's Map Fixes @ [url:9387b]http://tfo.servebeer.com[/url:9387b], or [url:9387b]http://www.mohadmin.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=14[/url:9387b]

As for wallhacks or no-fog cheats, there's nothing yet to prevent this. Just use spectator and follow the players to make sure they don't have one.

But I keep hearing something about dumpuser or something like that. What does that do?

Dumpuser.

If you are the admin of the server, type in the rconpassword through the console, then type rcon status. This displays a list of all players in your game.

From this, you can choose a suspect of bad skins, and type rcon dumpuser "Players_Name". Use the quotes if their name has more than one word. THis will display both their Axis and Ally skin names, and you can see what skins they're using.

I suggest using Delator though, as it will do this job for you.

Can Delator be used only in MoH:AA or does it also work in MoH:AA demo and Spearhead?

Delator will work for MOH:AA, and the MOH:AA Demo. From what I understand, I don't believe it works with Spearhead. Also, I don't think it's needed, as SV_PURE works in Spearhead now, so all files have to be the same.

You can download Delator from here, alliedassault.com. Just do a search in the Maps, Mods, and Skins section for "Delator".

hey so sv_pure does exactly what? does it make sure that all the pk3's are the same or all the newconfig things have to be the same i dont understand

Does that anti-landshark fix work for aa too or is it just spearhead? If not is there one for aa?
