...or...do you think it will slip back a month or two? All games slip, these days. And really, it's not that big of a deal. I'd rather see a game slip, and get some more work done, that needs to be, than be released as a buggy piece of garbage.

What do you guys think?

why do ya have to do this to ya man, lol, I just want it to come out in october

BadScript 06-22-2001 05:57 AM

I'm cautiously optimistic.

It's not always up to 2015 to say when a game is finished and is ready for the prime time. While I say "In 2015 we trust", EA doesn't have such a good track record.

BadScript 06-22-2001 05:58 AM

Btw, LOL H-A did you change your avatar because you are now a high-rank officer?

Hells-Angel 06-22-2001 05:59 AM

Gen. Rommel 06-22-2001 06:27 AM

Hmm...seems like everyone wants to be a general...

Well I hate to say it, but i believe 2015 will complete the game for the "October Release" but i have a feeling EA will not allow the release until Christmas time, since the sales boom then.

Polaris 06-22-2001 07:25 AM

i believe this game will go gold on Oct. 24 and will be released on november 16

Jerry 06-22-2001 07:53 AM

I have no clue if it will make the date, but I will say this. If EA has full throttle of the project release you will see a mid-november release and if 2015 has say in it, we can probably either see a late October release or a early December release. Let's hope they don't pull a Daikanta *or whatever the hell it's called by Romero. If they do pull a Blizzard Software trend (Huge Delays), then I would be really pissed when I found out the news but very very happy when it is release because you know they did some serious upgrades and polishing http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/smile.gif.

Cpt.Kickass 06-23-2001 03:52 AM

I bet it will come out near the end of october or beggining of november maybe.

billybob 06-23-2001 07:51 AM

Just hope to god they dont pull a "TF 2". It was supposed to be an add-on for half-life when HL first came out (that changed, then TFC took it's place), then it became it's own game they moved the release ahead by a couple of years, then they did an info-blackout (stopped giving any info out about the game). Now people are wondering if it even exists (or ever existed).
