hello
Hey im new here, (kinda registered last week or two) and im wondering how hard is it to make a sig?
It's pretty easy to make a basic one. Could get more difficult if you want something a little more involved.
Send me a PM with any ideas you have for a sig, and I'll try my hand at one for you. Zone |
I put one together for you. Yours if you like it.
There not to hard to make but sometimes you run into small problems you have to be pretty creative to get around. What do you have to loose by trying? |
i have just started to learn myself, i got adobe full retail version and the training cd, but i don't understand layers. any tips on this?
Just think in 3d. What should be behind what if i were actually looking at it. It also changes the look of certain effects. I taught myself how to do all the sigs i've done. Mostly i just play around seeing what happens. Sometiimes you get a cool effect, sometimes it looks like ass. Just go into the program not wanting to actually show anything from the little session. Play around with images to see what you can get them to do. Use the eraser to reveal stuff Under the top layors... Ah heck just play around, thats how i did it thats how any joe smoe can do it.
i tried to use the eraser for that and it just goes white or red. oOo:
Change the colour pallet and you'll change what you erase. Don't forget to change the style of the brush to airbrush or paintbrush and select size 200 or 300 to lightly take away from the picture to get the blending effect.
Remember, you can adjust the pressure of the eraser in airbrush mode, which is good for blending in combination with a layer mask/gaussian blur effect, which I posted in another thread.
Deadbolt made my sig you see below. Ask him to make one, he and Zoner91 do a great job!
