Dammit!!! I have the set developer...ect in the shortcut string and the console comes up great in the MENU!!!! I cannot get it to come up during gameplay....how do I do this??????ANYONE??????????????

This works for me. You don't need the developer command.

yeah,i have added that string and the console comes up fine at the main menu.once a game starts the console dissappears...how do you make it come back up while in a game??????

well....I did EXACTLY as you said man....the console comes up at the start of the game,at the main menu......when I go to the area where you launch the server,and launch it the command console disappears....I tried the ~ key and it is STILL bringing up the chat window......How can the command console come up at the menu and not inside the game???If the ~ key doesn't do it what will?
keep in mind that I am running my own server..it is a non-dedicated game and the ~ key won't work....is it because I am hosting a non-dedicated server game?????

FuBar I got what you need man!!!!
I was having the same problem and this is exactly what your string needs to look like to get the console to come up in game ok:


"C:Program FilesEA GAMESMOHAANetDemoMOHAANetDemo.exe" +set developer 1 +set ui_console

you must have the + and the spaces properly so just copy this string:

+set developer 1 +set ui_console

and place it exactly one space behind the " on the target command. And then to open the console in the game use the `/~ key ok.

If what the ~ key brings up IS the console (even if is still says chat window) what must you put in front of your command???? like /........> or what???? a sampl string might be like = /kick money
where the offender's name is money????

Fubagrnedsafj(whatever). try adding:
+set ui_console 1 +set g_gametype 2+sv_maxclients 4 +map dm/mohdm6

and then when u start enter the game through u'r shortcut u'll play:
TEAMPLAY.

thats the best way to play MOH:AA.
believe me

i know that MAN,shit I have been hosting games from day 1.....I just can't get the command console to come back up after I go into my game.....it is at the main menu,but vanishes upon launch of the game....
