Is there a command to raise fps?
I remember hearing something about a command that could be written in the console that raises ur fps? Anyone know what that command is?
|
vid_restart hake: NOT, the only command is buying a new card
|
im pretty sure there is a command
|
i COMMAND you to get a new Vid card you silly sod biggrin:
|
There isn't a said command to do said action so trust me and stop wasting
your time: if you aren't getting satisfactory results from your present video card and all options and /or tweaks have failed to correct the problem, BUY a new one. |
I have a fucking geforce 4 lol!! Its not my video card. I mean i have ok fps but i want it higher.
|
If there was a command to do that, don't you think EA would have set it at '1'? The way to increase your fps is to turn down the detail.
|
The game is capped at 100fps I think, but there is a command that lets it go over 100 if your card can do that. I have no idea what the command is though cause my card would never reach that high.
There is no command that just magically lets you have a higher fps. Thats not possible obviously. What can be done is adjusting the way it reports the fps like I said above. |

Yeah, exactly. There is a command that lets you changed the fps cap, which can have a small effect on the fps you actually get. It's something like max_fps xxx, where the x's are the numbers for the fps cap. |
Ok ill leave in shame. Thank you. cry:

In that case, be ressourceful and search the web for something like
"allied assault console command list" |
com_maxfps 250
This will change the 100 fps cap to 250 fps. I've heard 300 is the max you can go and 250 is the recommended. |
