Who here comes from a divorced family, and how do you think children from divorced families differ from children who come from families that are not divorced?


If you are wondering, I'm from a divorced family. My parents divorced when I was ten.

I dont think we differ at all spooge-ster. I think i turned out just like any other guy who didnt have a dad. Frankly i hate head-doctors who try to say we'll end up all freaked out and odd. I've never met a person who came from a divorced house that was outtside the tolerance of normal. Allowing for normal persoanlity diferance of course.

When i was a young boy most of the kids in my area came from broken homes.......and to be fair, they broke them.

Well, I am from a divorced family, parents divorced when I was 9. The only thing I see is the difference in wealth between me and my friends. For example, my friend has about 3 50' T.V.'s at his house, I have only 2 20' T.V.'s and the such. He gets everything he wants, whenever he wants it, (spoiled little brat) I have to earn all my money and such, and I'm an only child and he has 2 sisters. I live in a tiny apartment, he has a big o'l house. That's just what I've seen is different.

Give him a boot in the swingers, i fucking hate spoiled little cunts who try and rub it in.

not that im flaming you or meaning any harm but most people i know including myself dont even have 1 20' tv in their home. so its not like youre "poor" or anything is it?

No, I'm just saying, people with split parents have only 1 income, and showing the comparison between me and someone whose parents are together. That's all I'm trying to say.

i never knew my real mum cause she ran off shortly after i was born (i must of been an ugly baby) my step mum hasnt worked in almost 12 years so its sort of a 1 income family im in. im moving out in the summer though with my girlfriend and (due around christmas) step son.

in my case, i ended up hating my mom and haven talked to her in a long time, like only at family events, but i still wont just it there and have a conversation with her.......... but thats not really from the diviorce, its kind of the way she raised me (not the best mom in the world) and im glad that i live with my dad beacause he teaches my about life and how the world works and stuff, unlike my mom who really doesnt care what happens, shes really here just for herself.


but if your thinking of a diviorce and have kids too, you should really see those people that help put back mariages befoe a diviorce!

The Difference...I hate most of my friends parents who are divorced (well usually just one of them) because usually one is a retarded fuck.

My Cousin has come from a divoced family. Well twice being my aunt married Paul and they had one kid and then divorced (I really liked Paul and still do). Then she married again and had another kid, my next cousin and then divorced him. She is now dating and planning to marry this fucking redneck asshole from Alabama (this is not against all rednecks, just this guy is a fucking idiot) and my cousin has moved in with my grandma...who even before and during the second marriage and basically her sole provider.

Basically my aunts, uncles...everyone around me give my cousins ALOT more crap then I see from them...basically because my parents aren't assholes who don't take care of their kids. Anyways now I am going to lsoe my other cousin to Alabama because thats where my Aunt is moving...I am sorry for her and myself because I like hanging with my 6 year old cousin.

Anyways...Divorcing Parents are usually assholes and shit...but some still are nice after it but just don't get along with each other, but at least still care abought their kids.

My parents are divorced. It don't bother me none too much. They stay outta my businees, and I stay outta theirs.
