Crowkings AutoKick
I have the same problem, when i use the say , the whole program closes.
So i use the other one up top. it says option i think, then a box comes upn and you type in what you want. That works fine.. Hope this helped, i wish they would update crowking, cause i love using it, i even use it at work to monitor server. |
I think the command is
say all eek: |
something to do with rcon commands... there is a lenghty post about it here somewhere
sorry to lazy to look for it for ya, just search rcon commands or check out this site http://www.mohadmin.com/ they have everything I think you need there |
The Say command box in Crow King's Autokick is broke, don't use it.
|
Ya it shuts down the program, hopefully this will be fixed on future version.
right now autokick 1.2.1 beta is the latest, right? |
Yes Argon. Just go to "Other" and type "say whatever you want" and thats it.

Say works on the host
The anouncments work when the host is in the game playing but the messages look like they are coming from the host. I want to know how to make the messages to work on dedicated server even on a regular server I want to know how to set anoucements from the server instead of from the host. I found another program that sends messages that are from console but I have seen messages from certain ppl that aren't in game. I want to know how to do annoucements from a certain person like a clan server god or clan server master. as in my clan is uws I want it to come out (U.W.S.) Server god: Please visit us at uws.no-ip.org or what ever. if you have ran crow kings auto kick you know how it starts out. someone please help. tell me how to set a server config if the kicker can't do it that way. thanks

*smacks all*
STOP saying auto-kick is broke! grrrr hehehe The `say` command works perfectly just make sure you have typed your msg and sent it before the loading/scanning bar reaches full at the bottom of screen. If your still typing when the bar reaches max then the program dies. If its a long message just click on someones name whilst the server refreshes and then continue typing, see np? :P |

"console: Priest: Announcement" You should be able to enter "(U.W.S.) Server God" as the admin and have it show up for the announcement. Hope this helps. |
The admin function worked if I run mohaa runner
when I run mohaa runner it runs the dedicated server and it send the messages saying console but if I try to set admin in the console without the program it show it's working but no one can join game, or if they can join it doesn't work. How do I set the admin to work what command is it to set the admin.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're trying to set an admin name in your server in the server cfg file using the moh dedicated server utility?
This may be a little low tech, but I used information from the guides here in AA.com modified to fit my needs. I copied the shortcut info from Bull's Ded. Server setup in the guides section and changed it to point to my server.cfg. I have never bothered with the admin info in the .cfg file, but entered it into the autokick itself. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if it doesn't and I'll do what I can. |
I didn't see a way to add admin
I didn't find a way to add admin in autokick. I've had admin on my server but can't be found in the list
|
When you run the autokick program, there should be boxes at the top for "Admin", "Rcon password", "Server IP", etc. When using the AK generated announcements, they should show the name entered in the admin box.
What version of Autokick are you running? Maybe I have an older one? |
