I have Altec 5.1 which are phenominal. Only thing I've had a prob is that my sound card all sudden doesn't recognize 5.1 surround sound!

Back to da subject, listen to each one first. My freind has those Klipsch ones and lemme tell you freind, them bitches rock. Shit mad his secuirty system in his house go off.

Also keep in mind, that when it comes to sound, your card has about 75% to do with it.

If you have the cash, the klispch 5.1 are pretty much the best 'made for' computer speakers you can buy.

And if you're considering a surround sound system, I assume you have a decent aftermarket sound card? I had a friend who once bought a 5.1 system without realizing that he could only plug two of the speakers into his sound card.

Plug in an amp, 2 tweeters and 4 subs and you'll be right.

nope. The creative are very sweet. Can't remember the price, but if they are $20 or more less, I'd go with them. But the Logitech's are around $175 if I recall correctly, which is a phenomenal deal.
