help, y wont my skins work?
 

i unziped them, and put them here:
start
programs
EA games

and put em right above Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
the othe files in this folder r:
Medal of honor allied assault demo
medal of honor allied assault spearhead demo

u need to put them in the main folder (mohaa) or mainta (SH)

like this for SH...C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\mainta

in mine there is no main or mainta folder, there is mohaa, but i cant find main

Do you have the retail or the demo? I don't think skins and mods work with the demo.

allrigght dude, fiorst you must unzip the file (use winzip. u can downlaoad it off of Kazaa or download.com). when you have don this, drag the files to the MAIN folder under EA games: MOHAA: MAIN. make sure that u overright the files first. this can be done when you drag the files in there. hope it works. good huntin soldier.

umm i have retail, i did get it on ebay 4 like 3/4 normal price, but it was new, and still sealed so it was legal, so that shouldnt make a dif, and i had just said my prob was i couldnt find main or mainta folder, and i already have unziped them with a file from download.com, check my thread does anyone know where i can get winzip free?

ffs dont start that again.

ok dude...ur main folder is located after ur MOHAA folder. C:\Program Files\EA Games\MOHAA\Main...if u cant find it go to Start>Search and type in Main and u should be able to find it. hope this helps.

i actually found it using search before finding ur mssg, could somebody help tho on sometin else in the same catagory, how do u edit skins, 2 ?s, 1.what should i use to open them, 2.i was messing around trying to figure out what to open it with, and accidently frogot to uncheck the "always open with this" checkbox, so know all the skins r stuck opening in acrobat reader, how do u get this back to the default chose application, they still work fine to play with, but ill never be able to edit them if they stay like this.

There r at least 2 ways to change the default image editor program for .tga files.

1. Once u have pic_to_be_edited.tga click right mouse button on it, select "run with application..." or open as but not open, and u should have list of programs appearing. then just select the program u want to use for tga files and dont forget to check the always... option.

2. open windows exploder -> tools -> setup -> files. then select tga and assign the program u want to use for it.
