Any good realism servers?
 

I don't want to hear All About Nothing. I'm not fond of the realism, and I've given it a fair chance (2-3 weeks). I like SDR, but DK666's is always empty or not up. So, where do I play?

Like 1 in every 3 servers has some type of realism in its name, just look for it. Otherwise i dunno oOo:

MOB's servers are very good. Kaos is also very good

I don't mean stock realism. KaoS and MOB are lanme because both are nonrealsitic even though they say they are. KaoS has the shotgun on axis instead of the riflegrenade and runs stock, while mob rund that rapid fire rifle thing.

Sorry you don't like the equal weapons mod we use. But I wouldn't agree with your idea that it's lame. People either like the equal weapons or they hate it. I and lots of our regulars like the equal weapons. With our mods neither side has a weapons advantage, it all comes down to individual skill and not who has the better weapons.
I would have to argue with anyone who wants to split hairs over whats realism and whats not. In my own opinion the best realism mod would be a cross between CKR and the Aries5 mod. CKR has good weapon settings and Aries5 has much more realistic recoil.
If you get right down to it. How realistic is it when you pick up health or respawn right after you die. None of this is very realistic when you think about it.

Is the equal weapons mod the one where the Mosin Nagant fires as quickly as the M1 Garand? And if so, ugh. eek:

I would be the 1st to say it's not for everyone.
At the same time how realistic is it when you can empty a whole clip from a MG or SMG and keep it on target becuase of the total lack of recoil? cool:

Not realistic in the least, but I dont play MOH because of the super realistic feel of it; if that was what I wanted, I would play Op Flash Point. Just that I like the challenge of the bolt action rifle, and that mod takes that away.

Here is part of my reply in a tread you started about some strange rifles settings. You had probably ended up on one of our servers.

I run the same type of equal weapons on my server. For every 50 people who like it one person will constantly complain how it's not a true realism mod.
Most of the people who complain about the lack of realism in the MOB equal weapons mods, fall into one of two groups.
1) The person who always plays with the STG44 and hates how the bar is now just as good. This kind of people i just laugh at.
2) The person who comes in and picks the Mauser. Who doesn't like the fact it can fire just as fast as an M1. This kind of person I have absolute respect for. Their weapon of choice has been improved and they don't like it because they enjoyed the challenge of using the single shot Kar98.

Anyways, I've begged Chicken to tune the SMG, as it's basically a sniper-SMG. We'll see what happens though.

I like the MOB servers. I love using the M1, but on mob, I dont have to always play allies. Their servers suit my style of play.
