how do i boot people off my server
 

Guys, i know how to vote offenders off the server......
but i have witnessed people actually booting people off
there server. How exactly do you do this

its a console command but im not sure what it is. im guessing it would be kickPERSONS NAME HERE

If its a dedicated server type

If your hosting it type
[code:5787e]clientkick ##[/code:5787e]

Make sure you add your rcon password to both your kick or client click commands

you also need to get the status command first to find out their client number.

you could also use a program, like AutoKick to boot people for inappropriate names or high pings.

I think you can do it with their name too but client numbers are so much easier. To get the client number type
[code:9d28b]rcon status[/code:9d28b]
And it will tell you. If its a SH server just hold down TAB.

say oi get orf me server!!

Once you use status and get the status number, use the command (rcon clientkick "X"), where X = clients number.

how do I autokick for abusive names or high ping
 

well thx for the replys........and coming back to another
reply to this post.........how do i autokick for abusive
names and pings higher than 150ms.

This is a problem as i often have peeps come in and offend
people for abusive names such as "Hitlers Birthchild"

And I am 1024k connection and have a ping of around 20-40
ms, people over 150ms, lag up the game.............please
send explanations for autokicks to this thread......thankies

For this, download Crow King's Autokick.

Auto kick runs on a windows based machine. once you have entered your IP address and password for your server.

It will watch over it kicking anyone who's name you have entered into the program. It will also kick anyone over a certain ping.

it can also broadcast messages to your players. get if from this site or any good MOH site.
