Dumpuser on people with spaces in their names
 

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to dumpuser someone in spearhead if they have spaces in their name. It makes it hard to find out who is cheating when you can't dump people who have spaces. Thanks in advance

That does not work

I don't think that works in Spearhead.. Maybe when I tried it, I missed spelled the name. Haven't messed with it lately..

You could always make a cfg file in your mainta called dumpuser.cfg then make a couple aliases in your custom.cfg

alias userscan "exec dumpuser.cfg"
alias editscan "notepad dumpuser.cfg"

Things work much better in cfg files...

So now you can type editscan and a neato little notepad will popup with the dumpuser.cfg loaded to it.. You could add this to the dumpuser.cfg

rcom dumpuser "weird name here"

then exit the in-game notepad by clicking the top-right X button.. Press Y then Enter when prompt whether to save changes.

then you just type userscan to execute it..

see if that works..

hey stuff, here is something i noticed tinkering with dumpuser, if u can get to the actuall game console, where the game is running from, dumpuser works fine, but if u rcon dumpuser, it doesn't work. Why would it work for aa and not sh is beyond me, cause now i wonder how many ppl are using cheat skins while playing, with the feature not working properly, it is easy to cheat, just add a space in your name and noone can rcon dumpuser. EA needs to go back and fix this feature, and quick............

no more than they could in AA where dumpuser works.

I used dumpuser "Mad Man" in Mohaa for example but in Spearhead it does not work!

I get Usage info <id>


but if i do dumpuser clone for example it works fine!

Some thing else EA broke?
