3-D Glasses are they any good?
 

I saw some guy post about them earlier (I know he said they would f*ck up with mohaa lol) but im interested to see if they improve the game that much?

If anyone here uses them, or has used them in the past can you tell me the good/bad points please?

i've heard nothing but good reviews but i hesitate in buying them since it seems a little good for $100

I got a pair when I bought my GForce 2 7700 card about 2 or 3 yrs ago...when Quake3 was just released...I played a little with them but seemed to get a headache..lol..I admit it was awesome graphics seeing the blood splatter right in your face and seem to hit ya. I haven't tried it with any other game because I don't like using the drivers that came with that card...always used Nvidia is was an ASUS...however I go have a couple pairs of 3D glasses I don't use anymore..now whether they'll be compatible with your vid card I don't know...make you all a deal...I posted about a ping problem I was having after installing the 2.11 patch...post is a few down from this...anybody figure out how to fix my problem I'll gladly send you the glasses free of charge..I'll even pay shipping :)..I need my ping problem fixed..thanks fellz..peace :)

I have a set.
Yes they work. an it looks 3D..

Only issue is the drivers for the glasses messed up my video drivers.
My frame rates dropped a lot. (with glasses tuned off)

Then I removed the drivers and my frame rates where still effected.
I believe it set itself in the windows directory and was unable to get it back.
So I formated. All my drivers came straight ffrom Nvidia. (Card and Glasses)

But I will say this much.
I never get motion sickness from fps games.
But with those glasses on.. I was seriously sick to my tummy after about 10 minutes of playing.

So with that said. I wouldnt recommend them just on the fact they make you feel sick.

I have em and they are great....makes WWII Online soooo much better. Doenst make me sick at all though..hermmm. They look great with any opengl game as well.
