How do I make the weapon skins work??????????????????

Ok, I downloaded some weapon skins and put them in the "main" folder. Then I started my own server and the weapon skins didn't show up! Can someone tell me how you make weapon skins work? fire2: fire2: fire2:

4 possibilities:

1 r u sure it was the main folder? do a search in drive c under main,
2 r u playin sh? on sh its mainta
3 r u playin a demo? mods dont work on demos
4 ur computer is screwed, cant help u there
