i'm having problems hosting a game! HELP!!!
 

nobody can see my game when i host. how can i fix this problem?

Ummm dunno normally you just tick `allow game to be seen in gamespy` and that sorts it out!

I dont think you can always appear on ASE, sometimes your server has to be running for upto 10 minutes before they show up anywhere.

Just give your m8s your IP and let them connect directly to you or something, im sure someone more `tech` minded can answer this question more directly here, if they can help they usually do :)

Are you sure no one can see your game, or no one is joining?

my game is not dedicated, my friend can not see my game, i also have turn my firewall off but it still won't show up.

Are you conected to the internet using a router?

Is your friend using Gamespy to look for your game?

no i am connected directly to internet through cable.
no my friend does not use gamespy, i don't use gamespy to host my game should i?

Arg, weird.

Do you have the right posts on your router open?

He said he didn't have one.

Okay... nevermind then... what about firewalls? Or does he not have them either?

i know is too later for it...but
 

i have a friend and hes has the same problem and he was using a modem, and the problem was on this ISP, try to talk to your ISP, coz' you maybe find an answer

Same problem with me....I could never host a game. I never figured out why....I tried so many things too. hake:
