Localization.txt editing

I posted this in the MOHAdmin.com forums for Chris Sheldon, and recieved no responce, so I figured I should try here:

[quote:9939b]I'm trying to work with the localization.txt file in Spearhead for my swear filter, and I have a few questions to ask.

1) Are you able to add your own messages to transmit in the game? Example:

[code:9939b]{ "test" "hello!" }[/code:9939b] If that were put in the file, typing the word test would transmit hello! Does this still work in Spearhead?

2) Where are the localization.txt commands derived from? I know there's a file in Pak2.PK3/global/localization.txt, but even if I delete this file, it will take the scripting from somewhere else.

3) Is the global folder required to be in a .PK3 for it to work correctly now, or can it still be in the main folder, mainta?

The answers to these questions will really help me understand better how I can put the Swear Filter together for Spearhead. Thanks![/quote:9939b]

#1 should work...

#2 I dunno

#3 spearhead mods need to be inside a pk3. editing the files and putting them into the global folder wont work since 2.11.
