Kensington Mouse Lean??? Anyone help???
I have a Kensngton Mouse and their "Mouse Works 6.0" program, but I can't figure out how to arrange the buttons (on the side) to lean in MP mode. Can anyone help, please. Thanks in advance.

You'de need to set the button in Control Panel>Mouse to regular keyboard keys, like , and . for instance.
Then in MOH, make the lean left & right keys , and . That's the only thing I can recommend, because I don't use Kensington. |
Yeah Joe that's kinda how you do it with the 5 button MS , but you also have to go and set the .exe for the program you want those , and . keys to work with so the mouse program knows when to switch the function of the side buttons. Hope this helps Catdad.

Right, see I was going to say that, but alot of people recommend not using any software for the mouse provided by the manufacturer, including myself. This works for Logitech, at least. But like I said, dunno about Kenisngton.

Okay I see what you're saying Joe. But I like to use my side buttons for nav. fwd. and back in IE and I don't know how to set it up any other way so I can use the side buttons for both functions. I've never had any trouble with it set up that way. When I installed SH I had to set it up seperate from AA in the mouse software before it would work .

ok, I've tried that but it isn't working. I know have mouse buttons set up for "global" and "MOHAA" which is at the directory F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe (which is where my game is installed to), but when I push the 4 or 5 button on my mouse, it isn't until that I release it that i start to lean, but it only goes a VERY small amount. more like the screen jumps than anything else.
Did I set up the .exe right? Thanks for the help an dplease keep it coming. |

Sorry Catdad , neither Joe or I have the Kensington so we're not familiar with the software. Hopefully someone who's set up a Kensington will read this post and help you out. All we can do is tell you how we did ours and hope that your software is similar, but I guess it's not. Having the leans on the side mouse buttons is much easier to use than the keys , at least it is for me. Good luck.

They ARE a good and reliable brand, there's nothing wrong with them, it's just that I've never played with their mouseware.
