The SDK Petition
 

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the AA.com forums but I've been posting on the .map forums for a while, and was the previous owner of MOH101 site back when Allied Assault was released. I ask that you please try not to flame me for posting this, it is a last ditch effort with the recent news of the SDK actually being just an updated Radiant.

I was just playing DoD and relized how much the SDK makes a diffrence.

But still, EA+Community=getting screwed outta alot.

There has already been hundreds of these... it won't do anything.

Just wondering, but why do people think the SDK is all-important? I mean, there's still hundreds of things we can't edit or whatever that we don't need the SDK for, so why are people so desperate to get it?

Oh yeah, there's a bunch of stuff we can do. I can list all in 4 lines.

-Make maps with a buggy MOHRadient
-Import models, but not yet players
-Skin
-Script simple menu and title screens

Did I miss anything?

With the FULL SDK a new world opens. If we had it, we could...

-Make maps quickly and efficiently due to a debugged MOHRadient
-Make player classes
-Import new PLAYER MODELS-Yes, scorpio's been trying, but there's only so much he can do
-Make elaborate menus that can hold player data-thus giving TCs the chance to make a true TC.
-Make MOHAA into a truly new game

Just go sign the ^&*$##@%&* petition!

With the full source code the list is almost endless : how do you think Counter Strike was made ?? - or DoD or natural Selection.............
